Today we are going to make Peanut Butter No Bake Dog Cookies! Â Like most dogs, our dogs LOVE peanut butter! Â So I knew this treat would be a hit!
The first step is to gather everything we need to make the cookies! As you can see, the dogs are ready to get cooking!
Ingredients:
3 Cups of Rolled Oats
1 Cup of Mashed Pumpkin (or Sweet Potato)
1/4 Cup of Peanut Butter
A Splash of Unsweetened Coconut milk or water (if needed)
Directions:
Separate 1/2 Â cup of rolled oats and set them aside. Mix together remaining rolled oats, mashed pumpkin, and peanut butter. You can do this with a spoon, or with a Kitchen Aid Mixer. Â You want the dough to be firm, and not sticky. Â If the dough is to crumbly, you can add a splash of unsweetened coconut milk or water. Â When it’s ready the dough should not stick to your hands. Chill in the refrigerator for around 1 hour. Â This will make the dough easier to work with. I used a small cookie scooper to measure out the dough balls. Â Roll the dough into balls in your hand, and then roll them in the leftover rolled oats to slightly coat them!
I told you these were easy! Â Once they are all done, your dogs will be begging for a bite! Â You can store them in an air tight container for about 1 – 2 weeks, but I doubt they will last that long!
Once again, the dogs enjoyed these treats! Â Be sure to share this recipe with your friends!
