What an amazing story! A Florida Sheriff’s Deputy has gone above and beyond the call of duty, and given a new life to a puppy that was in dire need of that life.
They were called to a home where they found 7 dogs and 4 puppies. The house was filled with debris, animal feces, and the dogs were found without any food or water. After rescuing the dogs (and two reptiles), they did further investigation and discovered there was supposed to be 5 puppies. The Sheriff’s deputy along with animal control returned to the house and search for hours before finding the last puppy underneath a pile of debris.
The puppies were all taken to the shelter to be checked over, and the Sheriff’s Deputy waited outside to be the first in line to adopt the puppy that she had gone back to find. She has named the dog Ferrah.
